Speaker Profile

Mr. Sirovica has 35 years of experience in global infrastructure development in the fields of geospatial analysis, water resources, remote sensing, climate change, energy and environment. Experience includes feasibility studies, design, construction services, and project administration for flood management, meteorology, water supply and wastewater, hydro, geothermal and solar power, and environmental management. His responsibilities have included development of International Corporate Business and Project Management. Experience includes business lead evaluation, proposal preparation, funding evaluation, strategic planning and partnering, marketing, contract negotiations, and managing projects, sub-contractors and project offices. Clients have included US Government Agencies such USTDA, USAID, USGS, USAEP, Multinational Banks, foreign governments, US and foreign corporations including one Fortune 50 Company and Venture Capital Funds. 

Internationally, he was cofounder of a Business Forum acting as Business Advisor to USAEP. He has organized workshops and orientation visits including training seminars and programs. He received, from Governor Bob Taft, Ohio’s Department of International Trade “E” award.

In the USA, he has acted as Technical Advisor to State Government Agencies in review of environmental permits and to Industry Associations in negotiating environmental compliance regulations with State Government Agencies. He was vice chair of AWMA’s risk assessment technical session on Public Policy Setting.

He is a Fulbright Scholar and holds a BSc degree from the University of Surrey and an MS degree from Michigan State University both in Civil Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in several US States and European countries.
