Speaker Profile

Ryad Titah, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at HEC Montréal, and Holder of the Professorship in Electronic Government and Digital Cities. His main research interests are in information technology acceptance, use and impact at public and private organizations. In particular, his research focuses on issues related to e-government, and digital cities. His work has been published in journals such as Computers in Human Behavior, Information Systems Research, Information Technology and People, International Journal of Electronic Government Research, International Journal of Production Economics, the Journal of Management Information Systems, the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, MIS Quarterly and Transforming Government: People, Process and Policy. His research has won several awards including a “Best IS Publication of the Year Award” granted by ICIS 2007 and its Senior Scholars, a “Highly Commended Paper Award” granted by the Emerald Literati Network Awards of Excellence 2007, the ACM SIGMIS Best dissertation award 2011, and the Mercure HEC Montréal Best Dissertation Award 2011. He currently serves as a Senior Editor at Organization Studies and as an Associate Editor at the European Journal of Information Systems. He is also the President of the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC).
