Cameron MacLeod
Founder/CEO, Global Civic Innovation Centre

Speaker Profile

Cameron is the Founder and CEO at the Global Civic Innovation Centre, applying exponential technologies and growth techniques to solving civic challenges in partnership with Cities, Corporations, and Academia. With highly successful results in Medellin, Colombia and Miami, USA, GCIC will be announcing the launch of a new platform designed to improve the lives of more than a billion people by 2028 in cities around the world while meeting the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

With a focus on applied technology and organizational structure for exponential growth, Cameron is one of the founding consultants at ExO.works with Salim Ismail, author of Exponential Organizations, a new type of consulting company based on exponential principles and focused on teaching Fortune 500 companies how to restructure themselves for exponential growth via a two-fold method: learn to disrupt yourself before you're disrupted by others, and learn to beat the immune-system response that all large organizations have when confronted with rapid change.

A graduate of the Executive Program at Singularity University and with a BA from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, Cameron has become an advisor, investor, exponential growth consultant, and serial entrepreneur, disrupting the television/film, publishing, consulting, charity, recruitment, education, and technology industries, as is now focused on helping governments learn to embrace disruptive technologies to solve our common challenges.
